Why AMat.pro?

AMat.pro is a web service that provides access to a comprehensive database of casting materials. The database contains detailed information on the physical properties of various casting materials, including metals, mold materials, and other materials used in the casting process.

The database is designed to be user-friendly and easy to navigate. It allows users to search for specific materials and compare their properties. The data is presented in a clear and concise manner, making it easy to understand and use.

AMat.pro is an essential tool for engineers, researchers, and professionals in the casting industry. It is continuously updated with new data and information, so users can be sure they are always working with the most current information available.

Database Structure

In the database for casting materials, the casting materials are categorized according to the tree structure shown in the figure. The materials are divided into three main groups or material classes as follows:

  • Casting metals
  • Mold materials
  • Others

Each class is subdivided into a material group and a material subgroup. The material designations are located on a fourth level.

Features

AMat.pro offers a wide range of features to help you find the right material for your casting process. Below are some of the key features of the database:

Detailed Description

The casting material database can display detailed information on a specific data record or property together with information on the source of the data.

The database is structured in such a way that it can be easily integrated into existing systems. The data is stored in a relational database and can be accessed via a web service.

Data Comparison

The Data Comparison panel allows you to compare a single physical property for up to five different materials. This function allows you to compare the data sets available for specific materials and select the materials and data sets that are most suitable for your simulation.

Reports

Reports are provided with detailed information on the measurements used to analyze the casting materials and physical properties.
